On February 3, 2025, our partner Eurofiber Cloud Infra will perform scheduled firmware updates on the UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) installation in Data Room 1, Waalwijk. The maintenance will take place between 7:00 and 17:00 CEST. While no disruptions are expected, there is a minimal risk of impact on the A-feed and B-feed availability.

We will be updating and migrating the Plesk control panels on all servers to the latest versions. This upgrade introduces support for PHP 8.4, enhanced mail service security and access to Atomic rulesets for ModSecurity. There will be no downtime expected.

Our partner Fusix Networks will perform maintenance on the dark fiber connections between midnight (00:00) and 06:00 on January 24, 2025, to minimize downtime risks. Some BGP sessions and VLL circuits via their NIKHEF core router will be temporarily down. Connections remain operational via redundancy.

During this test, power from the transformer will be temporarily disconnected. The generator sets will start up and take over the power supply, ensuring continuous operation of the data center. The UPS systems are in place to bridge any brief interruptions as power transitions to the generators.

Due to the switching involved, there is a minimal risk of a short interruption on the primary power feed during the process. However, past tests have shown this to be highly unlikely. Our UPS systems will cover any brief interruptions, ensuring there is no impact on your rack.
