Our network partner Fusix Networks is performing a scheduled software update on the core router in NIKHEF (Amsterdam) on 7 November 2024, between 00:01 and 04:00 CEST. During this time, connections will shift to their backup router in euNetworks (Amsterdam), some services may experience a temporary loss of redundancy. The maintenance is expected to last no longer than 30 minutes, with minimal disruption anticipated.

During this test, the generator sets will start and take over the data center's power supply, running parallel to the public grid. The generators will handle the full load while the public power remains available. There's a small risk of a brief power interruption during switching, but the UPS systems will cover any short interruptions, ensuring no impact on your rack.
